Just a Short Trip?

That's what Mom says. A "short" trip. Away from us! She is going to be away somewhere tonight and tomorrow night, and then be back on the next day. She told me she will be back before the next Bunday.

I don't see why she needs to go somewhere in the first place. I mean, where is she going to sleep? I don't understand. She says she is going to HER Mom's house. She will be helping her sister find her webbing dress. I told her that it was her sister's problem, she is the one who lost it, she should look for it by herself! But she said it doesn't work that way. So I have to be without her, and I am going to miss her. It will just bee me and the girls, and the Dog-Bunny, and Dad who will take care of us. At least he isn't abandoning us too!

The other weird thing is that Mom is taking the foster bunny with her! It isn't fair that she gets to go. Betty lives in the kitchen, Mom takes care of her until she gets adopted from Rabbit Rescue. She isn't adopted yet, she is just going to a different foster home. So I guess she isn't going to be coming back. That is too bad, I really liked to bug her!

Mom says she is bringing home a surprise too! I hope it's something extra yummy!

Me-me-me Meme!

I've been tagged for a name meme by Sammy! In case you aren't familiar with The Naming of Cats, in the Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, by T.S. Eliot, we all have three names!
Here are the rules:

You must link to the originator of the meme (that is
Tara), list the following rules, and then tell:

1. The name that the family uses daily (such as Peter, Agustus, Alonzo, or James)
2. The name that is particular, a name that’s peculiar, and more dignified (such as Munkustrap, Quaxo, or Coricopat)
3. What you are doing when you are thinking of the name that only you know, and will never confess (when engaged in rapt contemplation), that deep and inscrutable singular name. Then tag three cats (and let them know they are tagged) to give us their names.

Here are my three!

1. Fez
2. Sire Mister Fezzypants of the Floppy BigEars
3. A popcorn binky high in the air, with a half-twist to impress all who watch!

Hmm, I will tag...
Tyler and Sydney!
Fluffy! My RR Buddy!

Monday Bunday

"Sometimes the only good thing about Mondays is the bunny pictures." - Mom

It's hard to get a "disapproving" shot of Abbey. It isn't that she never disapproves (as she does, quite frequently) it is just that she is such a princess that she always approves of having her picture taken! Look at those eyelashes! She is so good at working those to get extra treats out of Mom!

Aw, Mom...

Mom is always getting me into trouble! It's just past 11am here and so far today here is a list of what I've gotten her mad over:

-Jumping on Bambi
-Trying to take Bambi's treat
-Jumping on the coffee table
-Pushing stuff off of the coffee table
-Jumping on the chair to lean over to the kitchen table to chew on some paper atop the table
-Trying to break into Abbey's condo
-Using the corner by Abbey's condo as a litterbox
-Sneaking into the bedroom to bug Jack
-Sneaking into the closet in the bedroom
-Climbing into the bookshelf
-Chewing books while in the bookshelf
-Moving the blockade in front of bookshelf books in order to chew books on the bookshelf
-Tormenting foster bunny Betty
-Chewing Mom's pants
-Digging in Mom's pants
-Chewing various cords in my way
-Trying to squeeze behind the TV table (I used to fit! They shrunk it!)
-Repeats of several of the above

Mostly I think it's funny to get Mom all, "Fez!" (claps her hands!) "Stop that!" Then she goes on a rant about baby bunnies being trouble makers... hey, who is she calling a baby!?

Monday Bunday

We are going to jump on the Monday Bunday bandwagon! Mom wanted to share a picture of her first bunny, Cappuccino. She says before Cappuccino, she didn't know that rabbits could be such great pets, and he taught her that she never wanted to live without bunnies! So we all need to thank this guy. I never got to meet him, he passed away in December 2007, and Mom says he was almost 12 years old. Mom rescued him when he was 8, and he was a very happy, laid-back guy. We miss you Cap!

The Coffee Table: Forbidden Fruit

There are certain areas that the bunnies shouldn't go. Tables, shelves, the toilet... and the coffee table. For some reason though, I just can not stay off of it! I love to jump up there, and push around the stuff on it, chin the books, and nibble mom's candles. They don't taste good, there isn't a lot up there, but it's just so enticing. Maybe it's because I'm not supposed to be up there! I bet everybun has a place like this, or a favourite thign to do, that you really aren't supposed to! Oh, I also like the back of the couch and the chair...

In Recubbery

Well, despite my efforts to "hop away," as 'Lando bun suggested, yesterday I got my nooter. Mom put me in a red box that wasn't easy to chew, and then she was carrying me around for a while. When she opened it, I was in a new place with new people. They all talked about how big my ears are and where I came from. Mom called it the "Vet" and everyone at the vet was very nice. Then they took me to a different room without Mom. I was a big scared but they put a tunnel on my face and I thought that was weird. Then I feel asleep. When I woke up, Mom came in and she said "it's over now!" So I guess I got my nooter while I was asleep. I don't know what the heck it was. My belly area feels a bit sore, but I got home and ate up all my food and Mom said that was GREAT and gave me an extra treat! Only, I have to stay part of the day in a cage, and I have to stay away from Abbey for a bit. Mom told me I'll feel better in a few days, after I recubber. She said that all the boy bunnies have to get a nooter, and the girls that I live with all got a spade. I wonder if they at least remember what the spade was, I will have to ask!

SomeBun more Experienced?

What is a "nooter?" Mom says I'm getting one on Friday... she keeps giving me lots of treats and saying it is going to be "okay"... Is it a scary monster? A big treat? I'm so confused...

Fez + Abbey = L O V E

Sigh. Love is such sweet sorrow. Wait, not sorrow. Love is great! I think most of you could tell that I fell in love with pretty Abbey as soon as I saw her. So, I've been breaking out of my condo so that I can spend more time with her. Along the way I also met Bambi. Bambi is a very cute dwarf that also lives in the living room. They are both so sweet, and I have found that I really enjoy kissing their lovely furry faces. Curling up beside Abbey and Bambi for naps is also a new favourite pastime of mine.

I broke out so much, that Mom finally got rid of Abbey's old pen and moved us in together. Yippee!!! She even started grooming my ears a bit too. We both like to sleep with our faces smushed up together, and it is just such a wonderful feeling to have somebunny there with me. Now I never have to be lonely anymore. What a lucky guy I am!
