Poor Norbert! He and Abbey went to the vet yesterday. Mom took them in for their check ups. Something was weird with Norbert's teeth though, mom said they were growing in funny in the back. So the vet, he knocked him on the head, and yanked out his teeth!!!
"He did not, Fez."
Well, he might as well have! Okay, okay. So he knocked him out, but not by a smack in the head. And he didn't yank out any teeth. He just trimmed some of them at the back. But when Norbert got home he was all dopey, and look! Tears! He was crying! The vet made him cry!
"That's eye lubricant, Fez. Norbert didn't cry. He was very brave."
SIGH. Fine, Mom. Whatever you say.
Norbert is feeling a lot better now, and he is eating! He said that before, his teeth were bugging him a bit, and sometimes he wouldn't eat all his pellets. Instead he would eat cardboard. Well, more than usual. Abbey got a clean bill of health though!
One thing is for SURE. I am NOT going to the vet. EVER!

Ooohh.. poor Norbert! The V-E-T is a necessary evil though, see, now it's all the pellets for Norbert :)
Glad all was well for the buns, apart from the dental :) Do you get vaccinations for myxi and VHD at all over there?
Glad to hear Norbert is feeling better:) I work at a vet. clinic and mine won't even see me when I get home till I've had my bath and got that stink off, LOL!
You crack me up, Fez. Glad Norbert will be eating maximum pellets.
Sending Norbert a virtual snuggle for being such a brave boy!
Fez ... give Norbert 10 big snuggles for us! Then have a couple for yourself!
Wow, Norbert, we're glad everything went well at the V E T! We hope those spurs never come back anymore :)
We were pretty scared when you said that the vet knocked him on the head! But, we're glad that he's okay and doesn't have to go back there too soon!
LOL..funny post..poor Norbert, he does look like he's crying.
Hope Norbert feels like his old self soon! Fez will be a very reluctant patient in the future!
Norbert is very, very brave. I would not have been so brave. Please stroke his ears (if he likes it) and tell him what a brave boy he is.
